How much fuel should I be able to save by installing this performance module?
Generally, we see 10 to 20% increase in fuel savings. The key to saving fuel is once the power module is installed to keep on driving the truck like you used to.
Do I have to install the shim kit in order for the module to work?
The shim kit is supplied with 3 light and medium-duty part numbers. They are 12000, 20200, & 21100. The shim kit must be installed or the vehicle will not run correctly with the module installed.
Will the shim kit void warranty on truck?
The shim kit will not void any warranties and only has to be done one time. If the module is ever removed, the shim kit can be left installed. It will not create any performance difference on a stock engine.
I have hooked up my module and my truck will not start, what is the problem?
More than likely a connector is plugged in upside down or it is plugged into the wrong location. Check the installation instructions again and if you need further assistance, call Tech Support @ 812-618-9168.
Can I stack this module with other performance products?

Is the fuel mileage on the dash accurate or should I figure at the pump?
We recommend figuring fuel mileage at the pump. The onscreen fuel mileage can sometimes be misleading even in a stock setting.
What is the best setting to run the module for fuel savings?
We typically recommend running our module in the high setting for the best fuel economy.
I tow a camper/trailer that weighs 16,000 pounds, what setting should I run the module in?
We recommend turning our module down to the medium setting when hauling this much weight.
Will my engine or exhaust temperature rise when installing this product?
Typically we see EGT’s stay the same temperature or decrease slightly.
Do I have to drill a hole in my dash to run the switch?
No, many of our customers with newer trucks will just zip tie the switch to the harness in the engine compartment. If you do not wish to run the switch the module is designed to default in the highest setting. So, if you leave the switch disconnected the module will remain in the high setting all of the time. Keep the switch handy if you ever plan on towing anything over 15000 pounds.
Do I have to use the switch at all?
No, you only need the switch for hauling over 15000 pounds. The module defaults to the high setting when it is not plugged into the module.
When I installed the module, I started my truck and instantly got a check engine light and the engine idles really strange?
What could cause this? One of the connectors could be upside down. Please refer to the instructions for proper installation. If you need further assistance call Tech Support @ 812-618-9168.
If the modules fails on the road what’s the best way to get my truck going again?
Electronic items do sometimes fail, that’s why we offer a lifetime warranty. If your vehicle fails to run or start and you suspect the module is the cause, simply unplug the module and reconnect stock.

My Map sensor plug for my Powerstroke does not fit, how can I fix this?
There is a connector pin cover that sometimes comes off in the map sensor itself. It is usually white or gray in color. Simply take needle nose pliers and remove the wire cover from the map sensor. It should come out with little resistance. Once it is removed reinstall it back on the Ford factory map sensor connector.
How can I tell if I have a 2004 or 2004 ½ Dodge Cummins?
There will be a sticker on the valve cover of the engine. If the sticker is marked 325HP your engine is a 2004 ½ and newer. If it is marked 305hp then it is 2004 and later.
How can I tell if I have a Ford 2004 ½ or older truck?
On the 2004 ½ Ford 6.0 liter Powerstroke the ICP sensor will be located on the passenger side valve cover towards the radiator. The older 6.0 liter engines the ICP sensor is on the rear of the engine.
What is a Diesel Particulate Filter?
The Particulate Filter, also known as the DPF, is a device designed to remove diesel particulate matter or soot from the exhaust gas of a diesel engine. Wall-flow diesel particulate filters usually remove 85% or more of the soot, and can at times (heavily loaded condition) attain soot removal efficiencies of close to 100%. A diesel-powered vehicle equipped with functioning filter will emit no visible smoke from its exhaust pipe. Agricultural Diesel Solutions does not delete or bypass any emissions related parts, including DPF filters or EGR systems.

Will my module work on other trucks?
Yes, your module will work on other trucks as long as it falls in the year and make on our application list. Example: 2004 Ford 6.0 module will not work on a 2008 Ford 6.4, however it will work on a 2006 Ford 6.0.

How much horsepower should I gain?
The module comes with 3 settings, 10%, 20%, and 30%, horsepower gain. Generally we see an additional 100 horsepower to the rear wheels.

Our modules do not leave any fingerprints on your ECM, our modules are installed after the ECM. We do recommend if you take your truck in for warranty work to remove the module.

Where do I install my module?
The module should be installed in the engine compartment. Mount the module with the connector facing down. This will prevent corrosion caused from pressure washing the engine. Mount the module away from excessive heat and moving parts, usually on the firewall.
How To Interpret The Cummins Engine Names (i.e. ISX, ISL, QSX15).
Cummins Engine Series
IS = Interact System (i.e. ISX, ISB)
Q/QS = Signifies that an industrial engine is electronically controlled. QS stands for QUANTUM SYSTEM CONTROLS.
B = B series engine line, includes 3.3 , 3.9, 4.5 and 5.9 liter engines. Offered in both fully mechanical and electronic models. 5.9 liter engine is available in both industrial and automotive versions.
C = C series engine line, includes only 8.3 liter engines. Offered in both fully mechanical and electronic models, industrial and automotive versions available.
E = On older engine models this meant the engine was electronic. EXAMPLE: K2000E
K = K series engine line, includes 19, 23, 38, 45, 50 and 60 liter engine models.
L = L series engine line, includes older 10 liter and current 9 liter engine models. Industrial and automotive versions available.
M = M series engine line, includes M11, 11liter engines only. Industrial and automotive versions available.
N = N series engine line, no longer being produced for U.S. market. Included NTA855 and N14 engine series. Industrial and automotive versions available.
