Amazing Fuel Savings
I had purchased a tuner from Diesel Domination Inc on August 15, 2021 for my 2020 Ram 2500 Cummins. I had problems with this tuner causing check engine light to come on and trips to my local Dodge dealer to clear the codes related to regeneration issues. I don't know if you recall, but Diesel Domination Inc was a jobber out of Boseman, MT that had gone out of business. When I contacted you in June of 2024, I advised you that the module was operating unsuccessful and I had removed the tuner the issues with the tuner. The tuner was obviously out of warrantee, but my truck still only had approximately 15,000 miles in 4 years of driving. You authorized a return of that tuner and sent me a different replacement tuner, specifically the 60261 Module AG Diesel Solutions Tuner. I was reluctant to install the replacement tuner as I did not want to incur another trip to the dealer for check engine codes. My 5 year manufacturer's warrantee was up in August of this year. My truck's mileage was now approximately 21,000. I purchased a Banks Monster Ram intake and grid heater delete kit and drove to Reno, NV last week taking that and the replacement tuner to my son who installed them both for me. On the trip out from Rock Springs, WY (approx. 750 miles) my mpg at 70 mph was 20.5. I drove back home yesterday, and the truck now runs like a raped ape. I tried the 60+ hp setting and got 22.5 mpg. At the 90+ hp setting I get 26-27 mpg. Overall trip mileage for 1500+ miles was 25.5 mpg. I did not get any check engine lights and thus no engine codes. I couldn't be happier. When I tow my 36' toy hauler next year, I will use the 60+ hp setting as instructions suggest. Running empty will be on the 90+ hp setting. I wish I had access to a Dynamometer to see the actual HP and torque figures my truck is now putting out with the AG/Diesel Solutions 60261 Module Tuner. I'm sure some of the performance is also attributed to the Banks Monster Ram Intake but the throttle response is instant and awesome. The acceleration is fantastic. Thank you so much for your module replacement. Also, the install was much easier on this module.
